Why Work With Us
ProfessionalI'm currently a Captain for a major UK Airline and flying the Airbus A320 on their short haul network. As you can imagine Professionalism, Safety, Aviation knowledge, Operating Procedures and Risk Assessment all play a major part in my day to day life. These strengths and the skill set I've developed over the years give me a great foundation for teaching the GVC and A2CofC courses. I am of course qualified in the Drone world and hold a current Operational Authorisation from the CAA and in the Manned Aviation world with a current ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence).

Experienced
I started my training in Aviation in 2000. My first Airline Pilot Job was flying for a low cost carrier 'bmi baby' on the Boeing 737. I transferred a few years later onto the Airbus A320. I was lucky enough to train and fly on the A380 for close to 4 years. It was during this time I was introduced to the world of Drones and my relationship with Consortiq (CAA approved RAE) started. I trained as an instructor and worked towards my own PfCO. I'm now a Captain for a well known Airline and back on the A320 flying around Europe and training for Sims UAV. I trained in Thermography (Infrared Inspections) with IRed in early 2021 and this will become the main part of the business as it's simply fascinating. I'm assisted by my wife Jo and daughter Lauren (who is studying Film at University and will of course do my Editing!).
Meet the Team
Scott Stanton, Drone Pilot

I met Scott many years ago on an Airbus A320 type-rating course and we hit it off straight away. Having flown Airbus and Boeing aircraft globally for airlines, Scott brings a solution driven, safety-centric approach to the drone operation. Embracing the technology and advances of aviation, Scott was hooked by the capabilities and future of drones. Aside from inspection services, Scott has a huge passion for creative photo and video production. With his own company Velocitair, based in the south west of the UK, he loves to combine drone flying and filming from boats. When he's not working he's usually found outdoors cycling, running or swimming. We'll do a Triathlon together one day but I know he'll leave me for dust so for the meantime we'll fly the drones!
Matt Linsdell, Drone Pilot

I met Matt on the Thermography course in early 2021 and we've worked together on projects ever since. He's a great asset to the team with lots of energy and a creative mind. He has been involved in the drone industry since 2017, clocking up many hours flight time. Prior to this he was in the construction and energy sectors bringing valuable skills to the drone industry. Safety and professionalism are his main focus on site but he loves collaborating in a team and he loves getting stuck into a challenge or unusual project using as much specialist equipment as possible. Matt has his own company Aerial Image Revolution, based in the south east and Greater London so between the 3 of us we can comfortably cover the whole of the south. Thermal inspections, land surveying and promotional videos are Matts speciality.
